English Bulldog personality can best be summed up in one word: loyal. Bulldogs form very strong relationships with their family members. They thrive in environments where they are showered with attention and daily interaction. English Bulldogs do very well with babies, children, teens, adults and the elderly. So basically, their personality is suited for anyone as long as you provide the following: proper care, love, attention and devotion. Want to see first-hand what we're talking about? Now if that isn't love, I don't know what is. Along with these strong bonds comes a desire to protect and defend. The Bulldog is very territorial so if he feels his family or home is in any danger, he will defend. But otherwise, they are generally an easy going and relaxed breed. Just always keep in mind, the English Bulldog needs a lot of human contact and interaction to remain happy, well-mannered and overall balanced.
