Bulldog Photo Of Daisy

Daisy and her pup (thought is was really her baby)

Daisy and her pup (thought is was really her baby)

We had just lost our male bullie named Max to Mass Cell Cancer (unknowing to us). We only had him for 6 months and had adopted him from a shelter.

Everything happens for a reason and we are glad that we could make his time with us comfortable and provide him the love that all bullies deserve.

After losing our Max, I found a website called Georgia's Legacy, that helped me though my grieving process, and I searched every day for a Bulldog in need of a home. Then I found an ad on Craigslist for a 2-1/2 yr old female English Bulldog. Of course I was quick to respond and now we have our Daisy. She is 4 years old.

Her previous owner had his own demo company and it was requiring him to travel for long periods of time. His wife and children also had very busy schedules so he wanted to find a loving bullie home for her so she could have the attention that she deserved.

We went to meet Daisy and fell in love with her and brought her home that night. You would think that we have had her since a puppy because she came home with us and it became her house from the minute she walked in the door. She is spoiled, loved and rules the house.

We are looking to get her a playmate but cannot afford the cost of another puppy and you cannot have another breed of dog when you have a Bulldog because the care is all so different.

I used to be a Doberman Pincher dog lover. It was my boyfriend who wanted a bulldog and I said no - they drool and they are ugly....then we got Max and that is all it took to change all of that. Bullies are loving, adorable and very loyal. I loved my Doberman that I had growing up, but I am now for sure a BULLIE LOVER and will get another someday!

Daisy has her own seat on the couch, she sleeps between my legs in the bed and has her own cover. When you pick up her toys and put them in her toy basket, they are not in there long before she is knocking the basket over and spreading them out again. Funniest thing she does is pulling the plug-in air freshener out of the plug and then hiding it under something. I thought it was my girls who kept unplugging it until I caught her in the act.

Oh boy, is she smart too! She now knows how to spell "outside" and "potty" because we would spell it to each other and she caught on and will run to the door after you have spelled it. Anyone who is wanting to get a bulldog MUST do research to ensure you have the life style and can provide the life style a bullie needs. I Love my bulldog and this will be the only breed I will have.
