Increasing in popularity every year, the Bulldog is making a serious push towards the number one position for all AKC registered dogs. In some cities across the United States and the United Kingdom, this has already happened. This surprises many people who aren't familiar with the Bulldog. So, that's why we're here; to educate and entertain all who enter.
They are used as the symbol of nations all over the world because of their loyalty and tenacity. During World War II the British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill was depicted as a bulldog because he refused to give up hope and kept working towards victory and peace.
English Bulldogs are very gentle and eager to please. They're good with kids, but heavy bodied so can knock down little ones unless they're well trained. They nevermean to hurt anyone but if you have small children or grandchildren this is something that you'll need to take into account.
Let's face it, who can resist those droopy jowls and soft, dreamy eyes? Who could be unhappy with such a loyal friend who is so eager to please you, obedient and willing to learn tricks?
